Furlong has just completed recording for a split seven inch with Anderson. More on the News pagee.

Hailing From the bourbon swigging, horse bettin town of Louisville, Kentucky, Furlong the band is named for a 1/8th of a mile distance in horse racing. Furlong is a nasty beautiful bloody train wreck of musical genres.  Comparisons have been made to Captain Beefheart, Pavement, Frank Zappa, Ween and The Velvet Underground. They have finished a 7-inch that will be released this year (2010) on Gubbey Records. Of course, with this in mind it's important to stress that they're learning how to create web pages and as a result this one is not the greatest (sorry).
